One of the strengths of our school district is the fact that our schools are located in the neighborhood. Being a good neighbor is important to us and good neighbors take the time to share information and keep each other informed.
At approximately 12:10 this afternoon during one of our lunch periods, a staff member reported seeing an unaccompanied child running in front of the building. We conducted a thorough investigation and implemented a mandatory attendance check for all of our classrooms and students with the assistance of the Dearborn Police Department. All of our students were accounted for and we resumed our daily activities.
