Next Monday, November 19, is the Dearborn Schools’ Art Department Empty Bowls Dinner. That is a great event, and a huge help to the Blessings in a Backpack program. Here’s the link to the Event listing on Facebook as well as a electronic copy of the EB flyer 2018:
There will be a second fundraiser for the end of that week. Yogurtown on Fairlane Dr (up on the hill, near Target, Meijer, etc.) is hosting a fundraiser for Blessings in a Backpack on Friday, November 23rd. It’ll be a zoo up there, but maybe we can capitalize on shoppers looking for a break and a treat on Black Friday. If a customer brings the event flyer, or mentions Blessings in a Backpack, they will receive 25% of their sales transaction.
