The Dearborn Public Schools PTA Council is offering an important suicide prevention training session for educators, school staff, and parents.
Question, Persuade, Refer” (QPR)
The goal of QPR training is to help prevent deaths by suicide and reduce the stigma associated with mental illness.
QPR teaches three simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. QPR teaches individuals to recognize the warning signs, clues and suicidal communications of people in trouble and to act vigorously to prevent a tragedy.
For your convenience, you can choose from between two times to attend the free training session, 9:15 a.m. or 6 p.m.
