Dear Whitmore-Bolles Family,
As the year winds down and the Staff Lighthouse Team reflects on the progress of The Leader in Me during the current year, we decided to add a Parent Lighthouse Team. We currently have both a Staff and Student Lighthouse team. The purpose of the Lighthouse Team is to promote The Leader in Me model within the building. They are called Lighthouse Teams because we work to coordinate the school-wide work needed to achieve Lighthouse status.
Our mission for the Parent Lighthouse is to have parents as partners to make plans to improve, change, or implement Leader in Me ideas for next year.
Whitmore -Bolles needs parent leaders who are living the 7 Habits, personally and professionally and who are committed to creating a tradition for our students & families. All parents are invited to join this process and conversation.. Please think about attending an informational meeting on Wednesday May 24th at 8:40 am. The meeting will take place in our team room 102. Please check in at the office and they will direct you.
This could be a meaningful way for you to impact your children’s educational experiences at Whitmore Bolles. If you are interested in becoming a part of Parent Lighthouse, but cannot attend the meeting, please email Mrs. Oynoian at to express your interest.
