It’s that time of year again! All students have the opportunity to participate in the Mini Martian Marathon sponsored by Running Fit. For those of you who are not familiar with this event, it is an out of school race where students have to opportunity to log miles towards a marathon and run the last stretch of their marathon with thousands watching! The event is held at
12:00 PM on
Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Ford Field in Dearborn. A marathon is 26.2 miles. Interested students are to log 25 miles between now and race day. The day of the race students will complete the last 1.2 miles of their marathon with other students from Dearborn and around southeast Michigan. No after school practices will be held this year. Any family members registering for other races can use the coupon code SCHOOLGROUP18 for a 10% discount.
The group rate for the run is $15. Registration at the discounted price is open through March 1, 2016. You may register after March 1, but the price will increase by a few dollars. Registration includes a T-shirt and finisher’s medal. Please make sure you follow the steps below to register with our team so that you receive our group rate! .

2. Choose “As a group leader or group participant” from the drop down menu. Scroll down and click “Next”
3. Click the blue “Join a Team” button and scroll down to Whitmore-Bolles –Blue Wave 12:00 Start. Our password is eagles17
4. Click the Kid’s Marathon – $15 and fill in the personal information for the runner. Click “Save Earthling” at the bottom when you are finished
