Whitmore Bolles was constructed in 1927 on 10.6 acres of land.

Under the 2026 transformational bond, the school would be completely renovated.  Estimated renovation costs: $20,205,875.  Note Whitmore Bolles had air conditioning and new boilers added in recent years. For an overview, see the one-page Whitmore Bolles flyer.

Phase 1 (Years one to five)

  • Restroom renovations
  • Technology and furniture upgrades

Phase 2 (Years 5 to 10)

  • Major renovations to classrooms, media center, gym, and hallways
  • Cafeteria and kitchen upgrades
  • Site improvements to parking, playgrounds, etc.
  • Major mechanical replacement for remaining work
  • Building enclosure including windows and doors. (Roof was replaced in 2024.)
  • Major electrical replacement
  • Major plumbing replacement
