Under a new district policy, spaces in our Young 5s program are reserved for students within our boundary until May 31. If there are spaces remaining on June 1, we are to fill those spaces from the waiting list of Dearborn students outside our Whitmore boundary lines.
If you are considering Young 5s for 2019-20 for your student, please come in and complete your enrollment paperwork before May 31 to reserve a spot at Whitmore-Bolles.
If your student is in GSRP this year and going into Young 5s, you still need to bring in your child’s physical by May 31 to reserve a spot.
If you are enrolling your child in Kindergarten for 2019-20 and have not yet enrolled through our office, we ask that you do so as soon as possible, preferably also by May 31. The district is currently determining staffing needs for next year and we need to give them a count of enrolled students to be sure we are allocated enough staff for our expected needs.
Online pre-enrollment is available at https://dearbornschools.org/enroll Utilizing pre-enrollment cuts down on the amount of paperwork you need to fill out by hand. You still need to bring your original documents to the office to complete enrollment.
