Hope you all are enjoying the last days of summer break as we gear up for the start of the 2019-20 school year!
Our office re-opened on August 12, but will be closed on Wednesday, August 14 for our annual Professional Development meeting. On Thursday, August 15, we will resume our hours of 8:30am – 4:00pm until school starts.
Our first order of business is always to finalize class lists and prepare the Welcome Back mailing that lets you know who your child’s teacher will be, along with other important first day information. Due to a large number of ongoing new enrollments, class assignments are not yet final. However, we expect to finalize lists soon and have the packets in the mail to families early next week.
Once the Welcome Back packets are mailed, we move on to the many other aspects of getting the school ready for opening day. Due to the large quantity of work to be done, we will not be able to give out teacher assignments over the phone or by email to parents. We recognize that this information is very important to you, but all families will have to wait to receive the mailing for that news. Supply lists were published by grade level on August 2nd in the post right below this one.
We are excited for the new school year ahead and look forward to seeing students and families on the first day of school, August 26. Please note that this is a half day, with dismissal at 11:45am.
