COUNT DAY, 10/6!!!

Wednesday, October 6th, is the statewide Count Day for Michigan public schools. Count Day is when public schools tally the number of students attending their schools. Count information is critical to school districts because each student translates into state funding. This is why it’s so important for our students to be in attendance on Count Day. Of course, there are exceptions if a child is sick, but please make sure your child is at school if they do not have an excused absence. Parents should verify the absence with the school office as soon as possible.

There will be some incentives for students who are present on Count Day. Each student will receive a Whitmore-Bolles Elementary water bottle! Also, we have made arrangements for a special visit from the Kona Truck!

Don’t forget to wear your Whitmore Wear or Blue & White to show your school spirit!
