What is PTA?
- PTA stands for Parent-Teacher Association, consisting of parents and teachers WORKING TOGETHER to support and lift-up all students.
- PTA is people just like you coming together to:
- support school staff,
- promote student learning and
- help solve school needs through volunteering and funding.
Who can be a member?
If you’re a father, mother, protector, guardian, concerned community member and/ or someone who works at Whitmore-Bolles, we invite you to JOIN US!
2023-2024 Elected Board:
Kristina Szwed, President
Miranda Kuzmish, Vice-President
Frances Mathis, Treasurer
Chelsea Jankowiak, Secretary
This PTA runs on volunteers. Board members and anyone involved in PTA work can have a powerful effect on parent involvement through their everyday communications with other parents, the school, and the children — the need for volunteers to make those things happen, and the many ways parents can help.
YOU CAN HELP BY:
- Becoming a PTA member. Online membership process can be found at: https://wbollespta.memberhub.com/store
- Attending our meetings! We meet on the first Thursday of each month at 6pm in the Whitmore-Bolles Library. (No sitter? No problem! Bring the kids and we’ll bring the pizza!)
Our first meeting will take place on September 7th at 6:00pm.
This year’s board has a lot of talent, dedication and enthusiasm for the 2023-2024 return to school! We will be sending more information out about us and hope to learn more about you as well.
Thank you for your support and help making this a great school year!
Sincerely,
Whitmore Bolles PTA
